"My name is Kim. I’m 24 years old. I’ve dealt with weight issues all my life. Last November, I felt like I was at rock bottom with my body, my self esteem, with who I wanted to be, and with the life I wanted to live. I started losing weight and eating better however, nothing about it was structured and honestly, the weight loss was done in a not so healthy way. I follow many people on Instagram who have dedicated their passions in regards to fitness, Gem being one of them. I really admire a fit body and the journey many have opened up about and talking about their struggles and triumphs with fitness. I wanted this for myself. I knew at some point I needed some structure. I was really scared and hesitant to sign up for a challenge. Gem seemed to be extremely down to earth and I finally got the courage to sign up for her June Challenge. What I gained from it was far more than what I was expecting. To know Gem as a fitness coach is to know that she dedicates her heart and soul into her clients, and I feel she dedicated so much to me. She guided me as I came to the realization that I was lacking in nourishing my body, she gave structure to my workouts and the results came along with it. ‘Thank you’ does not express the gratitude I feel for what Gem has done for me. I believe in Gem, her capabilities, and her hustle. I hope she continues to do what she’s doing because she has truly changed my life, and I’m sure the lives of others. I would recommend working with Gem to anyone!

Hello, my name is Jannelle and I am 28 years old. I’ve always been on and off on my fitness journey because I would go to the gym, start a new diet, but never see results to the point where I felt discouraged. It was not until the end of 2018 when I decided to stick to my New Year’s Resolution of a “healthier lifestyle” for the New Year. I remember stumbling on Gem’s Instagram page and thought to myself, “She’s goals and she’s Filipina, I want to be like her!” lol. I slid into her DM’s by asking simple questions about her fitness journey and it all started from there. Gem has been there for me since the very beginning; I started off as one of her 1:1 clients but transitioned to her monthly challenges. I was a little intimidated at first because I thought that I probably won’t see any progress but Gem made me feel comfortable with accomplishing my fitness goals. She really tailors your workout plan and nutrition guide to your fitness goals and within 5 months I can now see the progress that I’ve been waiting on for years! There were moments at the gym when I felt like crying because of the workouts but I would keep reminding myself that it is worth it in the end. Gem has been such a true inspiration and a great coach – not only is she helping me accomplishing my fitness goals but has also helped me change my life perspective in a more positive light. I haven’t felt this confident in such a long time and learning to accept the process gives me more motivation. Thank you Gem for not only inspiring me, but also the other hardworking women trying to reach their fitness goals

I can’t thank you enough for helping me put my foot into what I’ve been wanting to for so long. You’ve been nothing but helpful and I admire what you do. Thank you for answering all my questions and giving me the boost of confidence I needed to get into the gym. I will be back if you do more challenges. Thank you for helping me regain myself. I thank you mostly for the mental part of this, my face on the first progress photo was so not me. I’m in tears seeing my smile on these last pictures. Currently a 26 year old nursing student who works part time, I found myself being “too busy” to have any workout routines and nutrition plan. Through friends, I found Gem’s monthly challenge. For $70, it was a steal so I decided to sign up for it, not knowing how effective it would be. For the entire month, I held myself accountable for everything I did, even when I found myself occupied with studying for three exams and working. She created a very feasible workout plan through the app that was both flexible and simple enough for me to use. The app allowed me to combine days together and even add my own workouts if I chose to. Her nutrition plan came with no restrictions which made it so much easier than I thought and coupled with “myfitnesspal” it made everything so practical. Her workout plans were even better because they varied week by week eliminating the boredom out of working out. My favorite were the leg days because there were 3 of them a week! Gem never failed to continuously motivate all the challengers everyday and personal check-ins were available to keep track of everyone’s progress. She even shared some personal recipes that she suggested. Any questions that I had, especially about my nutrition, she was able to respond to instantly via the app. I did not notice any changes until the pictures. I may not have seen a huge change on the weight scale but I saw considerable difference in muscle tone and “lean-ness”. I can’t believe that one month could make such a huge difference to kickstart my healthier lifestyle. Thank you Gem for your guidance not only for this monthly challenge, but for all the knowledge and experiences that I’ve gained that can help me in the future.

“My name is Rachel and I’m 26 years old. I started my fitness journey about 3 years ago. What made me start this journey of mine? My brother made a comment basically saying I was getting fat lol. When he said that, it hurt my feelings but also gave me a boost to start working out. Literally that moment I told him let’s go to the gym together then. So it started from there. I started working out with my brother and then got a personal trainer for about a month and then on my own. I would find workouts I like, save them, and copy what they were doing. I did that for about 2 years, changed my diet and started watching videos and following more fitness people on ig. I started going to the gym with a guy I was dating and he gave me knowledge on workouts and nutrition. I didn’t notice that I was loosing weight. So when we had broken up I took a little break to get myself back together, the motivation to go to the gym, the self confidence. I started going back and really wanted to change not only my body but boost up my confidence also. That’s when I found Gem’s Instagram. I looked into her ig and saw some of her workout videos. I saw that she was doing some 1 on 1 coaching and at first I was very hesitant because I’ve never invested in a coach and I wanted to make sure if I was going to put money into someone It was going to be well worth it lol. We started off with 1 on 1 coaching and gave me a lot of knowledge on workouts and nutrition. Guided me step by step and answered any questions I had. She told me she was doing these 4 week challenges and that it was going to be cheaper and with other girls. Of course I said yes why not! And boy did her challenges really challenge me! Taking weekly progress photos you start noticing a difference. If I’m being honest I’m a very hard judge, especially when it comes to myself, I am never satisfied. I never looked at those photos, actually I didn’t feel different, not until Gem told me about how much of a difference she saw and posted the pictures side by side. I was in shock and in awe of myself! You really can do anything you put your mind to. You just have to work hard to get there but in the end it’s all worth it! With Gem being my coach she taught me self love and confidence, knowledge of nutrition and workouts, and so much more! All in all, I’m so glad I put my time and money into this girl, she really is such an amazing coach and person in general! If you are hesitant to invest in her, well i am here to tell you, don’t be, she will be with you every step of the way and guide you and next thing you know, you will see differences in your body and in your mindset as well. “
